Be Sure to Make Time for Live Jazz Music at Broward Center for the Performing Arts

Featuring Jamaica’s world traveled Jazz guitarist, arranger, composer, and music educator Eugene Grey, Wailers trombonist Nambo Robinson, and percussionist Larry McDonald, the show chronicles the development of popular songs in Jamaica and the Americas starting from the mid-1940s to present time.

The show celebrates the way the musical elements such as Jazz, Mento, Ska, and Rock Steady have merged to become what is now known as Reggae and Hip Hop. Singers, dancers, and special guest artists perform the music of Louie Jordan, Frankie Ford, Bob Marley, and others.

Step outside of our welcoming and comfortable community at The Palms at Sawgrass Mills Apartments in Sunrise, Florida for the day! This event is coming to town on next Sunday, and it promises to be a wonderful time!
